Welcome Our New President

Bill Hess moved to Virginia Beach in 1953. He was raised in the Little Neck Area, and attended Oceana High School for six months. Princess Anne High School opened the next fall and Bill graduated with the class of 1958. During his high school years Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping on the Lynnhaven River.

After graduation, Bill served four years active duty in the Navy. Up until his retirement, four years ago, he worked as a sales representative.

Bill and his wife Connie just celebrated their 44^th wedding anniversary. They have been blessed with two daughters and two grandchildren.
He has an interest in local History. Over the years, he has collected many books and articles on the history of this area.

He is looking forward to serving with the Board of Directors at the Senior Resource Center and continuing the goal of offering interesting programs and providing services for our seniors.
